Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority, Inc. ® became an official member of the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) on October 14, 2000. Chartered in 1998 by 10 organizations from across the country. NALFO exhibits the true success and potential of a united Latino Greek front.
Its purpose is to serve as a network and an umbrella council for Latino Greeks across the nation through their philosophy of open communication and cooperation among all Latino Greeks; regardless of size, age or geographic base. NALFO has grown to incorporate 13 sororities and 8 fraternities in the past eleven years of service. The organization promotes professionalism and mutual respect.
Some of our most involved members are happy to hold positions on the NALFO executive board council. They assist the association with active decision-making and event planning. They are leaders in our organization that understand the importance of unity and the road to longevity among Latino Greeks. With two sisters currently serving on the NALFO executive board, it proves Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority, Inc.’s dedication to working towards positive communication and relationships with fellow Greek lettered organizations.
