MISSION
The mission of the Board of Trustees is to refocus Chi Upsilon Sigma’s priorities for the advancement of the organization. The BOT will concentrate on stream lining the organization’s duties and increase the organization’s communication lines. The BOT will focus on strategically making comprehensive changes in the overall structure, organization and business practices of Chi Upsilon Sigma in order to better accomplish its mission. The BOT is committed to examining the scope of the organization’s internal and external practices and to ensuring that the organization excels in today’s evolving environment.

BOARD DESCRIPTION
The Board of Trustees of Chi Upsilon Sigma is complied of alumnae sisters whose personal and professional expertise has deemed them exceptional leaders. Members of the BOT are appointment by the Grand Chapter Board as the organization’s "strategic planning" entity. As such, the BOT will focus on examining the development of the organization. The BOT will be responsible for evaluating and the organization’s development and its leaders for the further enhancement of Chi Upsilon Sigma. The BOT will engage in designing a basic framework and set of guidelines for Chi Upsilon Sigma in order to ensure its success in any future planning. The BOT will develop its own identity in accordance to the nature of the organization's leadership, culture, complexity of the organization's environment, size of the organization, and the expertise of planners. The BOT will continue to focus on Chi Upsilon Sigma’s mission, vision and values and will strive to effectively achieve its goals.

BUSINESS STATEMENT
As the BOT’s efforts evolve, the BOT will continue to provide guidance to the Grand Chapter Board and the membership in effort to meet the needs of the organization. It is the BOT’s expectation that working collaboratively with the Grand Chapter Board and newly created liaison will strengthen the organization’s infrastructure. Moreover, it’s the BOT’s vision to maintain focused on Chi Upsilon Sigma’s principles and core values to provide an opportunity for the emphasis on accountability for our actions and leadership through example. As such, the BOT will strive to improve the organization’s financial soundness, public image and morale.
