Every year, Chi Upsilon Sigma selects a national service project to increase understanding and awareness. Our members conduct various programming efforts such as community service, workshops, galas, discussion forums, and charity events to educate not only themselves but their peers, families, and surrounding communities.
It is with great excitement that we announce the 2012 National Service Project: The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty
See Dove's Beauty Pressure video
The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty provides fun, educational and interactive sessions for young girls ages 8-12. The campaign centers around starting a dialogue about beauty and self-image. By participating, young girls will learn how to combat society's “ideal” images of beauty and how to realize and appreciate their own internal beauty.
