Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority Inc. Celebrates its 30th Anniversary

New York, NY (6/27/10) -- On June 25, 2010 Chi Upsilon Sigma celebrated its 30th anniversary convention in Miami, Florida. This year's theme, “Aspire To Inspire: Creating a Culture of Service and Leadership” adequately chosen to reflect the culture C.U.S. has established throughout its 30 years in existence. Over a hundred members of Chi Upsilon Sigma from all over the country gathered together in the Hyatt Downtown Miami for educational workshops, motivational speakers, celebrations, and community service.

This year the community service event was in line with the National Service Project for 2010, Homeless Awareness. Sisters partnered with the Miami Coalition for the Homeless and connected to those living on the streets providing water, hygiene products, and giving them more information on resources available to them.

Convention weekend was capped off with the annual awards banquet attended by sisters and their guests.
