ESTABLISHED CHAPTERS
Established structure oversee their individual expansion processes, based on guidance and regulation by the Grand Chapter Board.
Adjustments are made in accordance with the varying laws of each academic institution.
NEW CHAPTERS
The Grand Chapter Board is responsible for overseeing all aspects of new chapter expansion.
There are additional requirements for new chapter establishment, including a minimum number of eligible women choosing
to seek membership and the policies of the institution and the policies of the institution regarding Greek Letter organizations.
The GCB takes all inquiries for new chapter establishment into consideration on an individual basis.
INTEREST GROUP: OWLS in CUS
In an effort to help women familiarize themselves with our sisters and our sisterhood, all undergraduate structures have
voluntary interest groups, known as “Organization of Women Looking for Sisterhood in CUS” or OWLS in CUS. OWLS in CUS is an
official branch of our organization specifically for women preparing to seek membership into CUS. Because we consider our
sisterhood to be a lifelong commitment, we encourage women to be sure that becoming a member of this sorority is for them.
OWLS members are strive to:
• achieve academic excellence
• promote and gain a greater appreciation of various cultures
• enhance leadership skills, through fundraising and community service activities with others OWLS and sisters
• become productive members of their respective colleges or universities and the community-at-large
